Holiday Lighted Parade

Approximately 70 exhibits were decorated for the holiday with lights. Starting at the intersection of Austin and College, the parade will go south on Austin Street until reaching the Seguin Events Complex. Santa will be present when the Mayor flips the switch to turn on the lights downtown. The parade begins at 6:30.
Drink and stroll

Walk through downtown between 6:00 and 9:00 while sampling more than a dozen different kinds of handcrafted hot chocolate. Businesses in Seguin’s downtown will be open late so you can shop and indulge in some delectable hot chocolate. The Seguin High School Star Steppers will perform live, and there will be food vendors, photos with Santa, and other events. Avoid missing it!
Jingle Bell Run Holiday Stroll

Come decked out in your finest seasonal attire. The top three holiday outfits will receive prizes! All levels of athletes, including walkers, joggers, and runners, are welcome at the Jingle Bell 5K Run. We accept strollers and well-behaved pets on leashes.
This run is timed.
The Downtown Business Alliance of Seguin is hosting the Jingle Bell Run 5K in downtown Seguin, Texas.
Calendar for race day
7:00 a.m. – Check-in for late registration (payable only by check) and packet pickup
5K Run/Walk at 8:30
Entry costs: $30 for those who are 13 or older
Ages 5 to 12: $20
$20 for a sleepwalker (only need a shirt)
T-shirts are not promised to late registrants.
$35 for registration on race day
Walking the North Pole

Join us for a family-friendly event in downtown Seguin from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Children’s events, like cookie baking and writing letters to Santa, will be held in Central Park by various charitable organizations.
The North Pole Stroll Shoe Box Parade is brand-new this year! All kids under eight are encouraged to construct a toy Christmas float out of a regular-sized shoe box. At 11:00 a.m., the parade makes its way around Central Park.
Yulefest

This free event, presented by the Seguin Art League, has been a gift to our community for ten years. A beautiful arts and crafts exhibition featured handmade goods, presents, and ornaments. A hundred vendor booths. Food, door prizes, and a kid’s art project.
